His versatility extends beyond Amapiano, as seen in his recent single “Harare,” where he blends Afrobeat, Amapiano, and Chimurenga music styles. “I drew inspiration from the vibrant rhythms of Zimbabwean music and wanted to fuse it with the infectious energy of Amapiano,” Seekay shares. “It’s about celebrating different cultures through music.”

In the acting realm, Seekay’s portrayal of Teddy in “Gomora” earned him the prestigious Best Outstanding Newcomer Award at the Royalty Soapie Awards. “Preparing for Teddy’s role required a deep dive into understanding his motivations and struggles,” Seekay reflects. “Winning the award was incredibly humbling. It reinforced my commitment to storytelling and the craft of acting.” Balancing his thriving music career with acting commitments presents it’s challenges, but Seekay navigates them with dedication and discipline. “It’s about managing time effectively and pouring my energy into each project,” he explains.
