At just 24 years old, Sicelo Buthelezi, affectionately known as Seekay, has already carved a significant niche for himself in the vibrant realms of South African music and acting. In the acting realm, Seekay’s portrayal of Teddy in “Gomora” earned him the prestigious Best Outstanding Newcomer Award at the Royalty Soapie Awards. “Preparing for Teddy’s role required a deep dive into understanding his motivations and struggles,” Seekay reflects. “Winning the award was incredibly humbling.
