SOUTH AFRICAN STREET CULTURE COMES ALIVE IN DJ SMOKES’ ‘ASPHUZENI’ MUSIC VIDEO

DJ Smokes has released visuals for his latest single, Asphuzeni, which comes as his first release after his successful debut album, SUPERLOVE.

The album consisted of 15 tracks and was a unique blend of retro-inspired RNB and Hip Hop sound, featuring renowned South African artists such as Ms. Cosmo, Ney, and Trusted SLK, among others.

Asphuzeni, dropped on 7th December 2022, is a catchy and vibrant fusion of Kwaito, Hip Hop, and Amapiano. The music video accompanying the song captures the essence of South African street culture, portraying creativity and youth.

DJ Smokes stated that the release was a birthday gift to himself and his fans, thanking them for their continued support in making 2022 one of his best years ever.
