These are loved artists, so when Artist 1 finished their performance, the featured artist now started their performance. As he was performing, Naledi’s DJ came in and put Naledi’s song on while the artist was still performing. Naledi took the mic and walked past Gatsheni and his dancers to start her performance. While fans were throwing bottles, she did not leave the stage, showing her inexperience. I blame the people who put her on stage while an artist was performing.”

In the aftermath, Naledi issued a formal apology on her Facebook page. In a heartfelt statement, she extended remorse to Gatsheni, his team, and the Maskandi community at large.

“I acknowledge that my actions were inconsiderate, and I deeply regret the way I conducted myself on stage. I respect the values of this community, and I deeply regret how I conducted myself on stage,” she wrote.

She also addressed her fans, vowing to learn from the experience: “I know I have room to improve, and I promise to use this experience as a stepping stone to becoming a better artist and person.”
