Thapelo Tlhako, better known as Oblamo, the Amapiano sensation from Alexandra, is back with a fresh and great two-track EP titled Jozi 2 Pitori. This musical journey seamlessly fuses the vibrant energy of Johannesburg (Jozi) with the cultural pulse of Pretoria (Pitori).
The EP features two tracks, Jozi 2 Pitori and Tshwara Mo, which showcase Oblamo’s growing influence in South Africa’s Amapiano scene. This project sees collaborations with producers Don 707 and 108 Moruti & The Yanos Plug, bringing a fresh blend of Amapiano, Bacardi, and house beats that reflect both cities’ streets, parties, and culture.
Building on his previous hits like Gomora and Republik of Kwakwa, Oblamo’s Jozi 2 Pitori represents a sonic journey from Johannesburg to Pretoria, connecting the musical cultures of both cities.
